About
Dennis Rafferty has a BSE in Art Education. Before moving to Maine in 1998 he taught in Kansas and most recently at the Kansas City Art Institute as a watercolor instructor. He taught for ten years at Heartwood College of Art in Kennebunk. Dennis has studied with Stephen Quiller, Mel Stabin, Caleb Stone and Guy Corriero and carries a part of them with him to every class and workshop he teaches. For the last twelve years Dennis has been teaching painting workshops on Cape Cod and the Florida Atlantic Coast. “Sharing the years of wisdom and experience of my teachers along with the knowledge I’ve gained is what I love about what I do. Helping students discover who they are brings me great joy. Watching a class grow together is such a pleasure. Sharing the joy and laughter along the way is what it’s all about”.
